Getting started
From an invite link to your first written procedure, in one sitting.
What you need
A StepBerry workspace is private: there is no public sign-up. Someone who runs the workspace invites you — the invitation arrives by email, or as a link they hand you directly. You choose a password, and you're in. Invitations work once and expire after 14 days — if yours has gone stale, ask for a fresh one.
Your first procedure
Open the library and press + New SOP, then use the chat box at the bottom of the editor. Describe one thing you do every day, the way you'd tell a new hire — out loud in your head, typed with your thumbs, it doesn't matter:
“Every morning I unlock the back door, disarm the alarm, count the drawer, and fire up the fryers before anyone arrives…”
The assistant answers with a proposed set of steps. If they look roughly right, insert them — they become real checklist blocks in the procedure, ready to edit.
Fix what it got wrong
The draft is a starting point, not a verdict. Click into any text to change it, drag the handle beside a block to reorder, and delete what doesn't belong. Correcting a draft takes minutes; that's the whole idea — nobody faces a blank page.
Where things live
The Library holds every procedure, grouped into collections. Search looks across procedures, their sections, and canned answers at once. Answers is the canned-answers module. Settings is where accounts, roles, and access tokens live.
