Writing procedures

Blocks, sections, statuses, and the assistant that drafts alongside you.

Procedures, sections, and blocks

A procedure is made of sections (the tabs down the left of the editor), and a section is made of blocks. Add content at the bottom of a section offers every kind: text, headings, checklists, images, video, embeds, tables, forms, sign-off signatures, speech-to-text, read-aloud, and dividers.

Editing and reordering

Double-click a section title to rename it. Hover a block for its edit and delete buttons, and drag the dotted handle on its left edge to reorder — blocks land in the order the work actually happens. On a tablet the controls are simply always visible.

Status and review

Every procedure carries a status pill in the library: Active, Draft, or Needs review. The library's side column counts what needs attention, so a stale manual can't hide.

Asking the assistant

The chat box at the bottom of the editor answers questions from your procedures and drafts new steps on request. When it proposes steps, an insert button places them into the section you're looking at — nothing is written without you.
